aimjohnson Black metal at its absolute finest, the atmosphere of this album is indescribable. Alex Poole is a master of his craft. Favorite track: Simulacrum of Mirrors.

SamdDark Just recently found out about this band over bandcamp after listening to minenwerfer. This album + the debut are the closest a band can come to the first 3 albums of bathory and yet they are not copying but they are creating something unique. Love this album and the debut. Fuck favorite track, this album must be listened to from beginning to the end, you need to sit the fuck down and listen carefully. This, debut, Bathory's debut and the return are possibly the background music of hell. 10/10

Choco Latte Most black metal bands don't even come close to the atmosphere that Alex Poole almost single-handedly creates here. It's the best thing he's done so far. Favorite track: Countless Reverie in Mare.

Nora Brackenbury Candey What a huge relief to have found this band! For me, Chaos Moon is blackmetal at its messy, histrionic finest. From the frenetic guitar work morphing frequently into majestic and unforgettable riffs, to the adept iteration of laptop mastering, to the vocalist who sounds like he's running down the street freaking out with his hair on fucking fire, to ambient keyboard badassery... This music is perfect in every way. Highly recommend. Favorite track: De Mortalitate.
